Heat exchanger for water and CIP solution
The Tetra Spiraflow CIP & Water Heater is a tubular heat exchanger designed to directly heat CIP solutions and process water in-line using steam. It features a hygienic design and is intended for use in food manufacturing. This heater is equipped with a floating tube that absorbs thermal expansion caused by the temperature difference between the CIP solution and steam at the beginning of each stage of the cleaning cycle. The Tetra Spiraflow CIP heater is a single-pass heat exchanger, where the CIP solution flows through a parallel group of tubes. The heat transfer medium flows in the spaces around those tubes. The tubes for the CIP solution consist of several tubes of the same diameter. These tubes are of the corrugated type, which promotes turbulence in the liquid and enhances heat conduction.
